At the end of this blog is our official statement about COVID-19.
However, we have some additional thoughts we would like to give in this time of uncertainty.
Our industry has always been a resilient one. We are constantly adapting to the economic changes as well as design trend changes. From labor challenges, to handling the puzzle that is logistics, to revolving our work around the unpredictability of Midwest weather, we handle it all as best as we can. One thing that will never change is our desire to add more beauty to our community and our world as well as provide amazing and enjoyable outdoor spaces for our customers.
We want to encourage our customers to still come out and see us, even if it is just to revel in our display gardens and spending time in nature. Our nursery & garden center have enough room to still practice social distancing. With so many other places closing and limits being set on where we can all go, the cabin fever will start setting, and we want to be a place that our community can shop as well as retreat to as the weather starts improving. Spring is coming, and we want you to be able to enjoy it as much as you can!
Our Site
The plants we bring in and care for and plant for people bring us so much joy, and we want to spread that joy! Our Garden Center has evolved so much over the past couple years, and we would love for you to experience. With the kids off school and many of you working from home, come in for little items for indoor home decor. These can include plants such as our airplants, succulent wreaths, and small succulent planters. Come in for items to plant, such as unique evergreen shrubs and colorful Japanese maples, in your backyard as an activity for the whole family. Relive the days when we played outside and were mesmerized by nature and all the amazing things it had for us. Nature is not closing. Nature cannot be cancelled. Don’t keep yourself sealed off inside; explore and beautify your own back yard and breath deep the clean, open air.
Our COVID-19 Statement
- Our communal areas in our office are being cleaned several times a day as well as each employee disinfecting their offices.
- Our crew guys, garden center employees, and yard workers do most of their jobs outdoors, away from large groups of people.
- Employees are taking the proper precautions and are aware of the social distancing measures they need to take if and when those situations become necessary.
